The 18-hole championship golf course at The Concession is a par 72 layout designed by the revered Jack Nicklaus with assistance from Tony Jacklin. More than a million dollars were spent to preserve the land’s massive pines and majestic oaks that now line links’ fairways.
Golf Digest magazine was so impressed by this design that it crowned the layout as the “Best Private Course of 2006.” This compliment is at once evident in the uninterrupted play and the scenic splendor experienced in a round of golf at the 7,479-yard course. There are no interior roads intersecting the layout and only but a few rooflines of The Concession’s residences can be seen from the course. Hence, golfers’ attention can be completely focused on the unique challenge the links provide — the highest slope rating possible from the championship tees of the golf course.
The Concession is likewise among the “75 Best Practice Areas in the US” as listed by Golf Digest.
